“Individual focus is what influences the crowd.” -Amy Larson, amyjalapeno.com (Thanks to one of my wonderful Bikram instructors, Charles Arnold)
When you focus on your own path (unconcerned with “fitting in” or comparing your progress with others) your time, energy, and attention are available to create your best possible work, greatest desires, and most fulfilling relationships.
Being the best person you can possibly be, in every aspect possible, is inspiring. It pushes limits and trail-blazes new frontiers.
Are you willing to stand out from the crowd? Not to exclude the crowd, but stir them to action and cause them to be as focused, as determined, as courageous.
I imagine a world where everyone is a leader first, willing to learn to be themselves first and then coordinate futures. The current ‘identity’ of leader with gazzillions of followers… is wolves leading sheep for the wolves gain only.

True. But I see more and more of the type of leader I am referring to in the quote. I have hope that the sheep (or many of them) will eventually begin to think for themselves, if enough of us show them how by example. Humans have a propensity for mimicking. It is their “sheepiness” that will either be their undoing or propel them to greatness. :)
