1. Living in the past is so common among those fighting with mental illnesses. PTSD also creates this inability to go forward. However, it’s never too late to change for those who want to change! And it’s a waste of energy to always be thinking of what-ifs. What if I’d taken that course? What if I’d written that book? What if I didn’t go to France that year? It could go on and on, but living in the present and doing the best we can with what we have is what makes us successful. Actually, living in the present and hoping for the future is what makes a success!
