“Burn these to the ground…” Poetically I get the intended meaning, I think. But in practice how does anyone achieve it? And what happens if one has no boundaries, or lacks the awareness of appropriate flexibility? Perhaps rather than rejecting boundaries altogether, the safer path is a middle way, one of healthy and dynamic balance. “The pure light of honesty…” Perhaps the means might be the bare senses; seeing, hearing, listening, smelling, tasting and feeling… the simple origins of raw observation, undistorted by interpretation. And that takes a hell of a lot of practice. Thus facts stand out, illuminated by simple attention, focused awareness. And the lightness that comes gives not just clarity and truth, but lightening of ressure, but release from the burdens of negativity.
